American economy has been in a decline in the past several years. If you read labels of different products you will have noticed that the majority of products being sold in stores or catalogues are imported from other countries. Globalization has created tremendous pressures (and opportunities) on American manufacturers and since many of them can't compete with the low-priced imports, businesses are being shut down and employees are losing their jobs.
This happens because Americans aren't trying to buy American made products. The demand for imports increases their prices while weakening the dollar's strength and greatly reducing the price of products made in American factories.
Since the problem is caused from consuming not made in the USA products, it is solved by buying American made products. Whether it's amercian made clothes, American made toys or amercian made cars. It means buying everything American made. And of course, not buying imported items: products not made in the USA.
This will cause an incline in demand for the made in the usa products, causing the American industries to hire back (or even new) employees to manufacture the products made in American plants. Americans which get employed improve their financial state and their buying power. This increases their ability to purchase more American made products, increasing their companies profits and by doing so, indeirectly, improving their own salary! And so this is a self feeding system which needs to get the drive to start functioning.
So as you see, ironically, the main group that is concerned about this economic degrade is the same group that, indirectly and unintentionally, causes it. They are the middle class plant workers who have buying power but usually prefer to spend it on foreign products (ranging from food to car parts) instead of authentic American made products.
So we have a problem and we know the solution. How do we join these two in order to make sure American economy doesn't hit rock bottom. The options are vast. But we still end up facing the same obstacle: logistics. Time is an essential resource these days and no one has time to go on a shopping spree and make sure he buys only American made stuff. Finding these products is becoming harder by day because as we said, American factories are closing down due to the decline in the demand for them. Finding these specific items in stores is usually awfully exhausting and unmistakably time-consuming.
Various sites across the net have already built up large directories of stores selling American made products in an attempt to solve this problem. Their goal is to bring the window shops presenting American made products to your home and by doing so, minimizing your efforts in searching for them.
This website will contain the largest database of stores selling American made products on the internet; retailers, businesses, wholesalers and manufactures. Thus, no matter what product you're looking for, you'll be able to find it and even compare between American brands and companies.
From American made toys to American made clothes and American made cars. Instead of you, the consumer having to exhaust yourself in looking and searching for stores that sell these products, you can, with a few clicks, find the closest store to you selling the product you're looking for. And of course it will be Made in the USA. The website will ease the stress of looking for the "Made in the USA" label and make sure that Americans buy American made.
